WORKSHOP
Wir lernen die grundlegenden Techniken und Prinzipien des Locking vermitteln. 
Im Mittelpunkt stehen acht zentrale Locking-Basics. Diese basieren auf der ursprünglichen Tanzsprache von Don Campbell, dem Begründer des Locking, und der US-amerikanischen Locking-Tradition. 
Die gelernten Locking-Bascis werden dann miteinander verbunden. Wir lernen, wie wir sie im eigenen Freestyle und individuellen Tanz anwenden können. 

Der Workshop  einen respektvollen und diskriminierungssensiblen Raum. Alle Menschen, die Freude an Tanz, Musik und gemeinsamer Bewegung haben sind ausdrücklich willkommen.

ZUM TANZSTIL
Darüber hinaus gibt der Workshop einen Einblick in die kulturellen und musikalischen Wurzeln des Locking, die eng mit der Funkkultur und der Golden Era of Disco der 1970er-Jahre verbunden sind. 

ÜBER DANIEL 
Daniel ist Mitglied der "German Lockers" und der "kleinParis" Crew. 2018 reiste er nach Californien und Las Vegas, um Locking-Pioniere persönlich kennenzulernen. Beim "LV Locking Camp" nahm er unter anderem Unterricht bei Don Campbell, Scoo B Doo, Damita Jo Freeman, Toni Basil und Loose Caboose. 2019 besuchte er außerdem das von P-Lock organisierte Locking Camp „Pay the Cost to Be the Boss“ in Paris.

WORKSHOP
We will be learning the fundamental techniques and principles of locking. 
The focus is on eight key locking basics. These are based on the original dance language of Don Campbell, the founder of locking, and the American locking tradition. 
The locking basics we learn will then be linked together. We’ll learn how to apply them in our own freestyle and individual dance.

The workshop creates a respectful and non-discriminatory space. People of all genders, gender identities, sexual orientations, and skill levels—as well as anyone who enjoys dance, music, and moving together—are expressly welcome.

ABOUT THE DANCE STYLE
In addition, the workshop provides insight into the cultural and musical roots of locking, which are closely tied to funk culture and the Golden Era of Disco in the 1970s.

ABOUT DANIEL 
Daniel is a member of the German Lockers and the kleinParis Crew. In 2018, he traveled to California and Las Vegas to meet locking pioneers in person. At the LV Locking Camp, he took classes from Don Campbell, Scoo B Doo, Damita Jo Freeman, Toni Basil, and Loose Caboose, among others. In 2019, he also attended the “Pay the Cost to Be the Boss” locking camp in Paris, organized by P-Lock.
