WORKSHOP
Sei Teil dieses intensiven Workshops, in dem wir die Wurzeln des House Dance erkunden. Wir lernen Grundlagen. Gleichzeitig gehören die Rhythmen aus Arielas Kindheit mit zum Workshop. Dazu gehört zum Beispiel Salsa. Diese Rhythmen haben Arielas Beziehung zu Bewegung geprägt. Wir verbinden in diesem Workshop die Energie des House mit der Wärme lateinamerikanischer Musik und schaffen so einen einzigartigen Dialog. 
Wir lernen durch Improvisationsübungen, spielerische Dynamik und Beobachtung. Wir entwickeln dabei Musikalität, den Fluss von Bewegungen und unser Selbstvertrauen weiter.

ZUM TANZSTIL
House Dance ist in den 1980er Jahren in den afroamerikanischen und lateinamerikanischen Communities von Chicago und New York entstanden. House ist mehr als nur Schritte: es ist Freiheit, Freude und eine tiefe Verbindung zur Musik. Im House stehen Groove, Fußarbeit und Improvisation im Vordergrund.
 

ÜBER ARIELA
Ariela (sie / ihr) ist professionelle Tänzerin, Choreografin, DJ und Kunstpädagogin mit über zehn Jahren Erfahrung. Sie wurde in Buenos Aires, Argentinien, geboren und lebt derzeit in Berlin. Ihre Arbeit widmet sich vor allem den Kulturen des House Dance und des Hip-Hop.
Ariela absolvierte ihre Ausbildung im Sozialprojekt „Núcleo Luz“ in Brasilien und im „Dance & Move Performer Program“ in Argentinien. Als Künstlerin ist es ihr ein Anliegen, ihre lateinamerikanischen Wurzeln in ihre Arbeit einfließen zu lassen und gleichzeitig ihr Wissen an Gemeinschaften weiterzugeben, die nur begrenzten Zugang zu Tanzausbildung haben. In São Paulo organisierte und leitete sie House-Dance-Lerngruppen und bot lokalen Tänzern so Trainings- und Lernmöglichkeiten.
Ariela engagiert sich aktiv in der Tanzszene als Wettkämpferin, nimmt an Battles teil und gewann bei verschiedenen Veranstaltungen erste und zweite Plätze. Zudem ist sie eine der Organisatorinnen von „Baile House“ und „MovendObjeto“, zwei Tanzveranstaltungen in São Paulo. Darüber hinaus war Ariela in Musikvideos von Künstlern aus Brasilien und Argentinien zu sehen, darunter Lyya, Mari Rossi, Kodigo, Mattiya und Kris Alaniz. Außerdem ist sie die Schöpferin mehrerer kurzer House-Dance-Stücke, die auf verschiedenen Bühnen in ganz Brasilien aufgeführt wurden.

WORKSHOP
Be part of this intensive workshop where we’ll explore the roots of house dance. We’ll learn the basics. At the same time, the rhythms from Ariela’s childhood will be part of the workshop. This includes, for example, salsa. These rhythms have shaped Ariela’s relationship with movement. In this workshop, we’ll combine the energy of House with the warmth of Latin American music, creating a unique dialogue.
We’ll learn through improvisation exercises, a playful dynamic, and observation. In the process, we’ll further develop our musicality, the flow of our movements, and our self-confidence.

ABOUT THE DANCE STYLE
House Dance emerged in the 1980s in the African American and Latin American communities of Chicago and New York. House is more than just steps: it is freedom, joy and a deep connection to the music. In House, groove, footwork, and improvisation take center stage.

ABOUT ARIELA
Ariela (she/her) is a professional dancer, choreographer, DJ and arts educator with over ten years of experience. She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and is currently based in Berlin. Her work is primarily dedicated to the cultures of House Dance and Hip Hop.
Ariela was trained in the social project Núcleo Luz in Brazil and the Dance & Move Performer Program in Argentina. As an artist, she is committed to incorporating her Latin roots into her work while sharing knowledge with communities that have limited access to dance education. In São Paulo, she organized and led House Dance study groups, providing training and learning opportunities for local dancers.
Ariela actively participates in the dance community as a competitor, taking part in battles and earning first- and second-place awards at various events. She is also one of the organizers of Baile House and MovendObjeto, two dance events held in São Paulo. In addition, Ariela has appeared in music videos for artists from Brazil and Argentina, including Lyya, Mari Rossi, Kodigo, Mattiya, and Kris Alaniz. She is also the creator of several short House Dance pieces that have been presented on various stages throughout Brazil.
