Floorwork ist vielfältig. Floorwork kommt unter anderem aus Pole Dance und Ballroom, hat aber Anwendung in z.B. Contemporary, Contact und Modern Dance.
Dieser Kurs fokussiert verschiedene Floowork-Techniken, wie z.B. Safety Release, Flying Low und andere. Es geht darum, Koordination und Beweglichkeit aufzubauen.
Jedes Training beinhaltet einige Übungen zum Aufwärmen, Floorwork-Vokabular, kleine Choreographien, Raum für individuelle Kompositionen mit dem neuen Material & eine Reflexions- und Feedbackrunde.
Wir emfpehlen, dass du bequeme Kleidung und, falls vorhanden, Knie-Schoner mitbringst.

K (they/er/k) ist koreanisch-deutscher Artist und industry-taught Pole und Floorwork Tänzer. Seit 2013 tanzt K in Clubs, macht Performances und gibt Workshops. 2020 war K Mitbegründer von Queering Defaults Leipzig und Panel Speaker beim True Colors Festival Leipzig. Für K ist Tanz eine Sprache mit vielen Facetten, eine von unzähligen. Im Tanz verhandelt K Emotionalität, Geschichten und gesellschaftliche Sichtweisen, die er mal spielerisch angeht, verschiebt und aufbricht.

Floorwork is diverse. Floorwork originates in pole dance and ballroom, among others, but has applications in contemporary, contact and modern dance, for example.
This course focuses on various floorwork techniques, such as safety release, flying low and others. The aim is to build coordination and flexibility.
Each training includes some warm-up exercises, floorwork vocabulary, small choreographies, space for individual compositions with the new material & a reflection and feedback session.
We recommend that you bring comfortable clothing and, if available, knee pads.

K (they/er/k) is a Korean-German artist and industry-taught pole and floorwork dancer. K has been dancing in clubs, performing and giving workshops since 2013. In 2020, K was co-founder of Queering Defaults Leipzig and panel speaker at the True Colors Festival Leipzig. For K, dance is a language with many facets, one of countless others. In dance, K negotiates emotionality, stories and social perspectives, which he sometimes playfully approaches, shifts and breaks open.
